In warband.. u walked into town (ugh.. what a chore).. walked to the area.. bought the workshop.. then could go inside.. (some instance.. ) and then add material if I remember correctly. Here in bannerlord.. There is no need to go into town (though they are beautiful).. u can buy it from the town screen.
